FAQs
Painting your home can be a large project and sometimes overwhelming. However, when working with us, we do our best to alleviate those concerns. You have a busy life and there is a reason you are calling a painting professional. When working with us, we want to give you our best and complete the project as smooth as possible. With that being said, there are many questions that arise, and below
are a few of the more common ones we receive.
How much will my project cost?
Each painting project is unique so there isn't necessarily a "set" price. When we provide an estimate, we consider the wall space, amount of trim, etc.; therefore a personalized estimate is our approach.
What paint sheens do you recommend?
Most interior projects we encounter are flat, builder grade paint, which is almost, if not, impossible to clean. The flat paint that is used in most newly constructed homes is porous so stains and scuffs penetrate the paint. To help limit, or avoid this, we like to use matte, eggshell, and satin finishes for walls. These sheens are easy to wipe and clean.
How long will it take to complete my project?
Most projects that are single rooms, such as bedrooms, kitchens, and bathrooms, take a day or less, pending amount of patch work and dry time. Larger projects will correspondingly take longer.
What color(s) do you recommend?
We do offer color consultations, both virtually and in person, but each home is different with natural lighting along other factors, so there isn't necessarily a "one color" fits all.
What type of paint do you recommend?
We use quality paints, so we like to use Benjamin Moore, PPG (Pittsburgh Paints), and Sherwin Williams.
What happens after I receive my personalized estimate?
After we prepare and send an estimate via email (normally within 24-48 hours after initial visit), the customer let's us know they would like to move forward. We then send over our contract along with deposit details, discuss a start date, and answer any customer questions.
